One of the most successful groups of the 70’s and 80’s, ELO spent a staggering 255 weeks in the singles chart and 393 weeks in the album charts, with total worldwide sales in excess of 100 million records.
The six original Electric Light Orchestra Part II former members have announced that they will be reforming for a UK reunion tour in May and June. Original ELO past hit-makers Louis Clark, Mik Kaminski and Kelly Groucutt will be performing alongside ELO Part II founding member Eric Troyer with Parthenon Huxley and Gordon Townsend.
Their decision to reform for a tour of the UK has come off the back of the huge success of their recent greatest hits album, The Very Best Of Electric Light Orchestra - All Over The World, which has now sold over 250,000 copies.
