Leaping onto the UK festival calendar in 2003, Download Festival has left a permanent footprint on the live music scene ever since. Download returns for the seventh year running with a three day festival featuring more than 100 acts across three stages.

Def Leppard have been confirmed as a second main stage headliner alongside masked metallers Slipknot. They will be joined on the bill by Whitesnake, recently reformed nu-metallers Limp Bizkit, Orlando heavy metallers Trivium, Mötley Crüe, Korn, Pendulum, The Prodigy, Devildriver and DragonForce.

This year there will be a massive entertainment zone as part of the campsite, which will run until the early hours, well after the stages in the main arena have finished. This will include a cinema tent, funfair attractions, a third stage bar and several campsite bars.

Aftershock will be there, and the Soul Bowl will be open until the early hours with some very special guests appearing on stage.

Camping facilities and toilets are provided for wheelchair users and those with special needs. Please make yourself known to a steward upon arrival on site.

There will be a disabled parking area located near to the campsite and arena entrance. Cars must display a relevant official disability badge where appropriate.
