Tall Stories’ popular children’s show, The Gruffalo, returns to the West End this Christmas for a fourth year where it will run for a limited season at the Apollo Theatre. Join Mouse on his adventures in this magical, musical adaptation of the multiple award-winning book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
Armed with just a nut map and a very vivid imagination, Mouse travels into the deep dark wood on a hunt for hazelnuts. During his quest, he runs into several hungry animals - the smirking, wheeler-dealer Fox; an eccentric, retired Woodland Air Force officer Owl; and the maraca-shaking, party animal Snake - who all size him up as the main course for their next meal.
Using cunning and guile, the quick thinking Mouse scares them away with tall stories of the terrifying Gruffalo, his imaginary monster friend. But what happens when he comes face to face with the very creature he imagined?
Packed with songs, laughs and scary fun, The Gruffalo is the perfect Christmas treat for children aged 3 and over. Let your imagination run wild!
