Starring Mark Rylance and Mackenzie Crook, Jerusalem is a rollicking, dark comedy about modern life in our green and pleasant land.
On St George’s Day in rural Wiltshire, the morning of the local county fair, Johnny 'Rooster' Byron, local drug dealer, wastrel and gypsy lord of misrule, is a wanted man. The local authority want to serve him an eviction notice for unauthorised encampment, his son wants to go to the fair, Troy Whitworth wants to give him a serious kicking and a motley crew of mates want his ample supply of drugs and alcohol.
