Simon Russell Beale and Jonathan Groff from hit US show Glee star in Matthew Warchus's new production of Ira Levin's celebrated 1978 comedy thriller, Deathtrap. The play took Broadway and the West End by storm in the 1980s and became a successful film featuring Michael Caine and Christopher Reeve.

Once a best-selling novelist and playwright, accomplished writer Sidney Bruhl is struggling following a series of box office flops. He decides to befriend Clifford Anderson, a gifted young writer who has penned a new stage thriller which turns out to be superior to anything Bruhl has done.

When Anderson turns up at Bruhl's Connecticut home with the manuscript, Bruhl hatches an ingenious and twisted ploy to ensure that his next work will be a runaway success....
