Overview

Based on the smash hit 1988 Twentieth Century Fox Film featuring Tom Hanks, Big the Musical makes its West End premiere at the Dominion Theatre for a strictly limited nine week season from September starring Strictly Come Dancing winner and former The Wanted singer Jay McGuiness.

Twelve year old Josh Baskin longs to be an adult more than anything else in the world. One night at the carnival, the mysterious antique Zoltar fortune teller machine grants his wish to be big. The next morning, he awakes to find himself mysteriously trapped in a 30 year old adult’s body and alone in New York.

Landing a job at a major toy company, he naively attempts to fit into the grown-up world where it’s all work and no play. But while everyone around him tries to act their age, Josh just can't help being himself. Maybe being an adult isn't all it's cracked up to be after all...

Access
The entrance to the theatre is street level with step-free access to the foyer. The theatre is fully accessible for wheelchairs and transfer seating is available in the stalls.

The theatre uses the Sennheiser Mobile Connect System. Customers are advised to bring their own headphones, but the theatre can provide them if required.

Guide dogs are welcome everywhere in the theatre and may be taken into the auditorium or looked after by theatre staff.
