The Cambridge Theatre was built for Bertie Meyer and opened on September 4, 1930. It is a member of the Society of London Theatre.
a modern theatre facing seven dials, built using concrete and steel and is notable for its elegant and clean lines of design. the etheatre was refurbsihed in 1950 - the original gold and silver decor was painted over win red and candelabras and chandeliers were added. In 1987 the theatre was once again refurbsihed and miuch of the original was restored.
Built 1930 by Wimperis, Simpson, and Guthrie. Interior decoration by Serge Chermayeff. Restored in the 1980s by Carl Toms.
