Jenna Hunterson is a waitress and expert pie baker at Joe’s Diner in the American South. Unexpectedly pregnant and stuck in a loveless marriage with her husband Earl, a baking contest with a large prize and the town’s new doctor may offer her a chance at a fresh start.
