Overview

A whirlwind tale of adultery, mistaken identities and plot twists, Joe Hill-Gibbins directs a revival of Mozart’s comedy masterpiece The Marriage of Figaro alongside conductor Kevin John Edusei.

As the day of Figaro and Susanna’s wedding arrives, it becomes clear that their philandering boss, Count Almaviva, is determined to seduce Susanna before the ceremony can take place. Susanna and Figaro conspire with the rejected and despondent Countess Rosina to outwit her husband, but when the teenage page Cherubino involves himself in their plans, general mayhem ensues and the Count receives a lesson in marital fidelity that he'll never forget!

Sung in English with lyrics projected above the stage.
