Following a successful UK tour, Christopher Luscombe's new production of Noel Coward's dazzling comic masterpiece, Private Lives.arrives at The Ambassadors Theatre starring Nigel Havers and Patricia Hodge.

Glamorous, rich and reckless, Elyot and Amanda have been divorced from each other for five years after a volatile three year marriage. But on a moonlit night in the Mediterranean, their paths cross once again when they discover they are in adjoining hotel rooms while both on honeymoon with their new, much younger spouses in the south of France.

Their initial horror soon evaporates as the spark is almost immediately rekindled and they find themselves sharing cocktails and a romantic serenade. The pair decide to elope to Amanda's Parisian apartment where they hurl themselves headlong into passionate love and insatiable lust without sparing a thought for the consequences, their new partners or the reasons that drove them apart in the first place...
