Following a sold-out run in 2017, Dominic Cooke's acclaimed revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Follies returns to the Olivier Theatre for a strictly limited season starring Tracie Bennett, Janie Dee, Joanna Riding and Peter Forbes.
Set in New York in 1971, the iconic but crumbling Weissman Theatre on Broadway is scheduled for demolition. Thirty years after their final performance, the Follies chorus girls gather on stage for a final reunion to reminisce, have a few drinks and perform their old numbers.
Featuring dazzling costumes, a cast of 40 and an orchestra of 21, Sondheim’s iconic musical includes such classic songs as Broadway Baby, I’m Still Here, Too Many Mornings, Could I Leave You? and Losing My Mind.
Please note that this production contains strobe lighting.
