Chariots of Fire Tickets
Running during the London Olympics this summer, celebrate one of Britain's most thrilling and greatest ever sporting achievements as Mike Bartlett's stage adaptation of Chariots of Fire lights up the West End starring Jack Lowden and James McArdle.
Based on a true story which inspired the legendary 1981 Oscar-winning film, Chariots of Fire is set during the preamble to the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris and retells the extraordinary story of two young men's unflinching rivalry in their quest to become the fastest man on earth. Harold Abrahams is the son of an immigrant Lithuanian Jew running to overcome prejudice while Eric Liddell is a devout Scottish Christian who runs for the glory of God. Chariots of Fire is the immensely moving tale of their unwavering determination in the face of prejudice, immovable beliefs and overwhelming odds...
Featuring part of the iconic Oscar-winning score by Vangelis, plus additional live music and arrangements by Tony Award winning composer Jason Carr, Chariots of Fire brings alive the incredible story of two athletes whose honour, sacrifice and courage brought them glory and immortality on the greatest sporting stage of all.
