Menier Chocolate Factory

Built in 1870 to house a French chocolate factory, the building was abandoned in the 1980s and fell into dereliction until it was purchased by the London Bridge Property Company in 1992. After restoration and renovation, this unique space now comprises a restaurant and bar, gallery, rehearsal room and an intimate 150 seat fringe theatre.

The award-winning theatre has been a full time producing house since 2004 and the building has retained its unique character having maintained the original exposed wooden beams, unusual cast iron columns and an amazing brick feature interior.
