Overview

Directed by Tony Award-winning John Rando, Back to the Future The Musical transfer to the West End's Adelphi Theatre in May 2021 after a limited twelve week run in Manchester. Based on the cult 1985 film starring Michael J. Fox, the new musical will have a book by Bob Gale and music and lyrics by Grammy winners Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, with the show also featuring original songs from the film including The Power of Love, Earth Angel, Back in Time and Johnny B Goode.

When teenager Marty McFly is accidentally transported back in time from 1985 to 1955 in a time-travelling DeLorean car invented by the eccentric Doc Emmett Brown, he inadvertently changes the past thereby altering the future and erasing his existence. In a race against time, can he make sure his parents Lorraine and George fall in love, fix the present and return to the future?

Access
There are 2 spaces for wheelchair users at the back of the stalls and transfer seating is available to any stalls aisle seat. A maximum of 4 wheelchairs can be stored in the cloakroom.

An infra-red system with 7 headsets is installed. Headsets can be collected from the Box Office.

Guide dogs are allowed into the auditorium and staff are happy to dog-sit for a maximum of 2 dogs per performance.
