Exploring the early life of the witches of Oz, this spellbinding tale tells the incredible story of the extraordinary friendship between two girls, Glinda and Elphaba, who meet at Shiz, a school where both hope to take up sorcery. Glinda is beautiful, ambitious and extremely popular and Elphaba is smart and feisty but shunned because of her unnaturally green skin.

By a misunderstanding, they wind up roommates and, after an initial period of mutual loathing, begin to learn something about each other. As their lives unfold, their choices and convictions take them on widely different paths as they ultimately become the Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Witch.

There are spaces for wheelchair users on either side of the Dress Circle and transfer seats are available. Escorts are not required.
