Now a major fixture in the festive calendar, Birmingham Repertory's stage adaptation of Raymond Briggs' classic children's story, The Snowman, returns to the Peacock Theatre for a record-breaking fourteenth successive Christmas.
When a small boy's snowman comes to life on Christmas Eve, the two friends set off on a magical night-time adventure. On their travels, they meet dancing penguins, reindeer, crowds of the Snowman's friends and Father Christmas.
Watch spellbound as the Snowman soars through the night sky, escaping the clutches of the evil Jack Frost to return home for Christmas morning.
Featuring Howard Blake's beautiful Walking in the Air performed by a live orchestra, this production is a captivating mix of dance, stagecraft and music, making it the perfect Christmas treat for all the family.
