Overview

Having delighted theatregoers of all ages around the world for over 20 magical years, award-winning family extravaganza Slava's Snowshow returns to the Royal Festival Hall once again this Christmas.

A hilarious and poignant combination of theatrical clowning and breathtaking visual effects, this wondrous show is full of joy for all. Performed by Russian performance artist Slava Polunin and his internationally renowned ten-strong troupe of crazy clowns, you'll be totally immersed in a joyous, dreamlike world whose inhabitants will touch your heart, tickle your funny bone and make you feel like a kid again.

Sweet, funny and just a teensy bit sad, Slava and his clowns will make you hoot with laughter. Watch them grapple with giant foam telephones, prepare to be enveloped by their giant cobweb, play with the great big bouncy snowballs that are boinging around the theatre and root for Slava when he falls hilariously in love with his own overcoat. As the awe-inspiring climax unfolds, one tiny piece of paper begins a heart-stopping blizzard leaving you literally knee deep in snow.

Access

All levels of the auditorium can be reached using the JCB Glass lift or the other internal lifts. There are spaces for wheelchair users and their companions and there are seats which are easy to access in the stalls for people with limited mobility. Accessible toilets are located on all floors of the hall and there are cubicles for ambulant disabled cubicles within the general facilities.

There is an infrared system in the auditorium for the hearing impaired.

Guide dogs and companion dogs can be taken into the auditorium where there are seats in that have additional space.
