Explore 300 acres of the world’s most famous garden, housing the largest and most diverse botanical and mycological collections in the world.

Founded in 1840, from the exotic garden at Kew Park, Kew Gardens contains four Grade I listed buildings, thirty six Grade II listed structures, a serene lake and waterlily ponds. Entry to Kew Palace is included in the cost of admission to Kew Gardens. It was the family country home of King George III, a beautiful and intimate royal retreat comprising bedrooms, a dining room and the newly restored Georgian Royal Kitchens.

Access
Kew Gardens is largely accessible to wheelchair users and wheelchairs are available on a first come first served basis.

Most of the buildings in the gardens have level or ramped ground floor access for wheelchairs. The gardens themselves are largely flat with tarmac paths in most places.
