Othello Tickets

Following a sell-out, regional tour The Northern Broadsides and West Yorkshire Playhouse acclaimed production of Shakespeare's Othello transfers to the West End in September, starring comedian Lenny Henry in the title role and Conrad Nelson as Iago.

Poignant, thought-provoking and complex, Othello is a powerful and moving tragedy about love, racism, jealousy and desire. At the emotional core is a tender love story shattered by one man’s obsessive hatred of another. Othello is noble, brave and victorious. His rival Iago, passed over for a position in the army, fuels his diabolical revenge with hatred and snarling racism. Powerless in the face of their own self destructive instincts, the characters are caught in a downward spiral towards inevitable tragedy.

Othello mercilessly explores every inch of the human condition, setting delicacy and power, trust and jealousy, love and hate, good and evil in stark and tragic opposition.
