In a swirl of 1940's glamour, Samuel Adamson’s new stage adaptation of Truman Capote's critically acclaimed novella, Breakfast at Tiffany's, is brought to the West End starring Anna Friel and Joseph Cross.
Set in New York City in 1943, the story follows William ‘Fred’ Parsons, a struggling young writer from Louisiana, as he meets the quirky Miss Holly Golightly, a charming, vivacious and utterly elusive good-time girl. Maintaining a childlike innocence yet wearing designer clothes and accessories from Givenchy, Holly spends her time on expensive dates and at high class parties. Everyone falls in love with Holly, including William - but he is poor, and Holly needs rich. Will she marry Rusty, the playboy millionaire or José, the future president of Brazil? As war rages in Europe, Holly begins to fall in love with William only for her past to catch up with her.....
Loosely based on the classic film starring Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard, Breakfast at Tiffany's will feature the Oscar-winning song Moon River by Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer. The production is presented by Chambord and is produced by Colin Ingram by arrangement with The Theatre Royal Haymarket Company.
Please note that this production contains some strong language and scenes of nudity.
