Performed by a company of talented actor-musicians, Dickens Unplugged will take you on a hilarious journey through the life and greatest works of Charles Dickens as never seen before. This unique interpretation provides a light-hearted insight into an incredible man: from his bleak childhood to his complicated marriage, numerous children and his final years.
Featuring twenty original songs plus a host of Dickens' most eccentric and best loved characters from his greatest works including Oliver Twist, Great Expectations, A Christmas Carol, David Copperfield, Bleak House, A Tale of Two Cities and more, Dickens Unplugged is fast, furious and in five-part harmony!

Access Wheelchair accessible entrance is through a side exit on Oxenden Street. Wheelchair spaces and transfer seating available. Wheelchair users must be accompanied by a non-disabled companion. There are no adapted toilet facilities.
For the hearing impaired, an infrared system with 12 headsets is available from the box office. Some form of identification (driving license/credit card) will be needed as a deposit.
Guide dogs are not allowed into the auditorium but staff are able to look after 2 dogs per performance in the theatre’s office.
