Following the huge success of previous tours and the recent 25th anniversary of the duo's 1984 Olympic Gold Medal win for their Bolero routine in Sarajevo, Torvill and Dean are bringing their hit TV show Dancing on Ice to the live arena again for a fourth time in 2010. The five-week tour will travel to Sheffield, Newcastle, London, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham and Belfast.
Torvill and Dean will be joined by an all-star line-up of past and present Dancing On Ice celebrity contestants.
The tour show is designed to be a truly interactive experience and replicate the format and set of the TV show. Each of the competing celebrities will perform a series of routines with their dancing partners. The panel of rink-side judges will give their comments and verdicts, and the audience will be able to vote for their favourite couple via mobile phone text messaging. All profits from text voting will go to charity.
The audience votes will be added to the scores from the panel of judges to decide the winning couple. The winning celebrity with the highest amount of votes will join their skating partner to perform a magical finale.
