Following a sold out run at the Chichester Festival Theatre, Rupert Goold's modern adaptation of Macbeth transfers to the West End for a limited ten week season.
An anatomy of the relationship between ambition and corruption, Macbeth is one of Shakespeare’s most bloody and chilling tragedies. This new interpretation unfolds in an austere, white-tiled subterranean setting where Macbeth's rise to power leads to building tensions, paranoia and fear that ultimately end in violence and murder.
Starring Patrick Stewart, Kate Fleetwood, Paul Shelley and Scott Handy.
