Peter Gill directs a revival of Patrick Hamilton's classic Victorian thriller, Gaslight.
It tells the powerful story of a timid young woman psychologically dominated by her husband. While Jack Manningham is out on the town each evening, his wife, Bella, stays at home alone, believing she's losing her mind: she can't explain the disappearance of familiar objects, the mysterious footsteps overhead or the ghostly flickering of living room gaslights.
However, following the unexpected arrival of Detective Rough, suspicions about Jack's behaviour are aroused and accusations of theft, bigamy and murder bring his true identity into question.
Starring Rosamund Pike, Kenneth Cranham, Andrew Woodall and Rowena Cooper.
