Menopause The Musical has been an international smash hit playing in nine countries around the world since 2001. Written and produced by Jeanie Linders, the show is a hilarious and touching tribute to the rite of passage which is The Change of Life.
The show begins with four women at a department store lingerie sale with nothing in common but a black lace bra and hot flushes, night sweats, memory loss, chocolate binges, not enough sex, too much sex and day-to-day challenges with parents, children and partners…..
This joyful musical parody is set to 25 re-lyricised classic babyboomer songs including 'I Heard It Thru the Grapevine You No Longer See 39', 'Puff, My God I'm Draggin'', 'My Thighs' and the disco favourite 'Stayin' Awake, Stayin' Awake'. This entertaining and empowering show will have you cheering and dancing in the aisles!
The four women will be played by Su Pollard, Miguel Brown, Samantha Hughes and Amanda Symonds.
