For the first time in over 30 years, a new production of Peter Shaffer's classic play, Equus, returns to the West End.

Equus tells the dark and disturbing story of 17-year-old Alan, who one night blinds six horses with a hoof pick. His life seems routine, his family loving, his pursuits harmless and yet he has been placed under psychiatric surveillance - an unresponsive patient who is woken each night by terrible nightmares. Psychiatrist Martin Dysart tries to understand what drove this usually quiet and obedient young man to such a violent and shocking act.

Multi-award winning actor Richard Griffiths stars alongside Daniel Radcliffe, best known for playing Harry Potter in all four of the feature films based on JK Rowling's best-selling books.

Please note that some scenes in this production are unsuitable for children.
