Capturing the magic of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic trilogy in a musical adaptation on stage, Matthew Warchus' impressive production has dazzled critics and audiences alike with it's combination of spectacular effects, powerful story-telling and an unforgettable musical score by A.R. Rahman, Christopher Nightingale and Finnish group Värttinä.
An international creative team has combined all three books into one unmissable theatrical epic that transforms the Theatre Royal Drury Lane into Middle-earth. With an awe-inspiring set, extraordinary special effects and an ensemble of over 70 actors, singers and musicians, The Lord of the Rings is one of the most ambitious theatrical productions ever staged.
