Tom Conti stars in the title role of Keith Waterhouse's play, Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell, for a strictly limited 12-week season at the Garrick Theatre.
Based on the life and writings of one of Soho’s most colourful characters, this hilarious comedy immortalises Jeffrey Bernard, journalist, gambler, incorrigible rogue, fervent alcoholic and womaniser.
Set in the saloon bar of the infamous Coach and Horses, Jeff finds himself locked in for the night. Armed with a bottle of vodka and cigarettes for company, he narrates a story of hilarious anecdotes and witty reminiscences, revisiting past loves, friends and enemies.
Cast also includes Royce Mills, Elizabeth Payne, Nina Young and Tristan Gemmill.

Access Wheelchair access to the theatre is through a gate to the left of the main entrance. Transfer seating is available to any Dress Circle aisle seat. Each wheelchair user must be accompanied by a helper.
A Sennheiser infra-red system with headsets is available for those with hearing difficulties.
Guide dogs are welcomed at the theatre and can be looked after in the Managers' office during the performance.
