Enjoy an extended visit to Windsor Castle with this exclusive morning tour run by Premium Tours which operates every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
After your courtesy pick up you will head out to Windsor Castle where over 900 years of royal history are waiting. From William the Conqueror all the way through to our current Queen, successive monarchs have lived here and left their mark on what is now the largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Your ticket allows entrance to the castle, so you can see for yourself the splendour of St. Georges chapel and the sumptuous state apartments.
Next is an opportunity to explore Windsor during a walking tour. It is a pretty town full of traditional shops and historic pubs. Shakespeare is said to have written his play The Merry Wives of Windsor in one of them!
After your visit to Windsor, you will drive through Runnymede, where King John signed the Magna Carta in 1215, the foundation of our modern legal framework.
The tour returns to London at approximately 1pm.
Departure Point
Premium Tours offers coach pick-up from all major central London hotels. For those not requiring pick-up, the tour departs from Victoria Coach Station at 8.10am.
