Veteran actor Ian Richardson stars in the revival of Pauline Macaulay’s psychological drama, The Creeper, for a limited 12 week season at the Playhouse Theatre.
An enthralling psychological thriller set in the mid-sixties, the story begins as a young salesman arrives at the house of wealthy eccentric Edward Kimberley in answer to an advertisement for a gentleman’s companion. What follows is a compelling story of elegance, wit and tightening menace as the young opportunist wheedles his way into Edward's life and proceeds to exert his power.
The Creeper also stars Oliver Dimsdale, Alan Cox, Robert Styles and Harry Towb.
