Helen Edmundson's phenomenal sell-out adaptation of Jamila Gavin's Whitbread award-winning children’s book, Coram Boy, returns to the Olivier Theatre for a limited season.
Coram Boy is a tale of two cities: Gloucester and London. It tells the story of two orphans at the Coram Hospital for Deserted Children: Toby, saved from an African slave ship and Aaron, the abandoned son of the heir to a great estate.
A tale of fathers and sons set in the dark heart of 18th-century England, it is an epic adventure filled with danger and excitement. The cast are accompanied on stage by a 25-strong choir singing from Handel’s Messiah.
This production is not recommended for children under 12 years old.
