Death of a Salesman, the classic story of the rub in the American dream, receives a timely West End revival following the death of Arthur Miller in February this year.
Set in 1940s New York, Death of a Salesman is the story of Willy Loman, an ageing salesman whose grasp on the reality of his life is slipping away. Having worked hard all his life, proud of his ability to sell anything to anyone and to provide for his family, his dreams have come to nothing.
Now he finds himself at the end of his career and at the end of his rope. He's lost his job, the respect of his sons and his hope, with tragic consequences.
Starring Brian Dennehy, Clare Higgins and Douglas Henshall.
