Acorn Antiques The Musical, based on Victoria Wood's magnificently bad spoof soap opera, arrives in the West End with a star-studded cast and crew.
The cast of the axed TV soap, down on their luck and looking for work, have found themselves performing in an experimental opera taking a bleak, uncompromising look at modern Britain. But Mrs Overall won’t let the opera drag her down and starts trying to slip a few more tuneful ditties into the proceedings. As events unravel fate gives her the chance to fulfil her dream of taking a musical based on Acorn Antiques to the West End, with lots of lovely singing and dancing, and a very prominent part for her.
Victoria Wood will share the role of Mrs Overall with Julie Walters and will appear on Mondays and in Wednesday matinees only. Other cast members include Neil Morrissey, Celia Imrie, Duncan Preston and Josie Lawrence.

There are no steps to the auditorium through the exit doors either side of the main entrance. There is one wheelchair space and transfer seating is available to any aisle seat. Wheelchair users should be accompanied by a non-wheelchair using companion.
