Following a sell out success last Christmas, the classic family pantomime Aladdin returns to the Old Vic with Sir Ian McKellen repeating his dazzling performance as Widow Twankey.
Bille Brown's new version of the most famous tale from the celebrated collection of stories The Thousand and One Nights will also star Frances Barber as Dim Sum and Roger Allam as Abbanazar.
Directed by Sean Mathias and with an original score by Gareth Valentine, the panto features an additional song 'I Believe in You' written by Elton John and Lee Hall.
