This production has now closed.

The long awaited London staging of The Producers, Broadway's biggest hit show, is now a reality, starring Cory English and Reece Shearsmith.

The stage show is based on Mel Brooks’ Oscar-winning classic film of the same name and follows the diminishing career prospects of down-on-his luck theatrical producer Max Bialystock and his nerdy accountant Leo Bloom.

Together, they hatch the ultimate money making scheme: a premeditated theatrical flop so certain of failure that they need never pay back the investors and can therefore pocket the investment money.

All seems well as they prepare to stage Springtime for Hitler. However, on the opening night when the curtain goes up on their gigantic singing, dancing spectacular, they realize their plan has gone ridiculously wrong.
