Opening Times
The park season runs from 15th March to 15th November 2008. The park is open between 9.30am daily. Rides open from 10am.
Closing times vary from 5.30pm onwards depending on the time of year.
Travel
Nearest Rail: There is no train station at Alton Towers. However, local rail operators may offer special away day tickets to Alton Towers, including rail travel and coach transfers to the park. Please contact your local operator.
By Road: Travelling North M1 - Junction 23a or M6 - Junction 15
Travelling South M1 - Junction 28 or M6 - Junction 16
A car parking fee of £3 per car now applies for most types of tickets.
Access
Alton Towers make every effort to ensure the Park is accessible to all guests. All rides display information on ride restrictions at the entrance point and it is the guest's responsibility to check these restrictions prior to entry.
Not all rides are suitable for all visitors and each has strict operating requirements which staff have to follow for health and safety reasons. Disabled visitors are advised to contact Guest Services upon arrival where staff will be happy to advise on easy access to rides and attractions.
Disabled toilet facilities are available throughout the Park and wheelchairs are available from Guest Services for a hire fee of £5.00 plus a returnable deposit of £20.00.
