Dominion Theatre

What's on at the Dominion Theatre

The Dominion Theatre is located on Tottenham Court Road close to St Giles' Circus and Centre Point Tower, some distance away from the rest of the West End’s Theatreland.

It was built by William Milburn Junior as a private theatre for Moss Empires between 1928-29 at a cost of £459,000 and at the time was described by the press as technically faultless. In the following years it was home to a number of musicals which flopped, before Universal hired the venue to screen its motion pictures.

It is still sometimes used for movie premieres, but mainly hosts live stage shows and concerts.

The theatre is currently owned by Clear Channel Entertainment.
