South Pacific to sail back into West End after UK Tour?

28th September 2011

The Daily Mail has recently reported that following it’s sell out run at The Barbican, Bartlet Sher’s Tony award-winning revival of South Pacific could revisit the West End after it’s national tour.

The Rogers & Hammerstein classic which stars former EastEnder Samantha Womack and Brazilian baritone Paulo Szot is allegedly in “serious talks” to return to London for a prolonged stay according to the Mail's Baz Bamigboye.

Audiences in Milton Keynes, Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, Oxford, Southampton, Birmingham, Stoke, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Sunderland will be treated to favourites including I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair and Some Enchanted Evening – but gossip regarding where the Lincoln Centre production will sail into in The West End remains just that with no confirmation as it stands.
