Noises off Transfers to the Novello

3rd February 2012

The Old Vic's triumphant and critically acclaimed sell-out production of Noises Off will transfer to The Novello this March, representing the first time The Old Vic Theatre Company has transferred a production to the West End.

Michael Frayn's multi award-winning comedy about the goings-on behind the scenes of a touring farce has been enjoyed by millions of people worldwide since it premiered in 1982 and hailed as one of the greatest British comedies ever written.

Winner of both Olivier and Evening Standard Awards for Best Comedy, this much loved play serves up a riotous double bill – a play within a play. Directed by Lindsay Posner, the Novello production will see a cast of Jonathan Coy, Janie Dee, Robert Glenister, Jamie Glover, Celia Imrie, Karl Johnson and Paul Ready reprise their roles, with the characters of Poppy Norton-Taylor and Brooke Ashton to be announced shortly.
